User Software

PC software is presented on this page that can handle the decoding of the information provided by the SDR hardware. The main purpose of this list lies in showing the features (modulation method etc.) and suitability for the FiFi SDR project (type of interface, expandability, ... ).

FiFi-SDR with built-in SDR software

FiFi-SDR can do standalone decoding of common analog modulation schemes like SSB, AM and narrow-band FM. Even wideband FM for broadcast reception (mono) is available , but requires the FiFi-SDR with 192-kHz soundcard.

One possible use case is the direct connection of available digimode decoder software. The page linked here describes this for the popular FLDIGI software. It works out of the box for the Linux version (any recent distribution version). For use with Windows you can download a special version for the FiFi-SDR which solves a problem that the generic FLDIGI version has with USB connected Hamblib devices.
